HEY GUYS! It’s been a minute!!! I promise you, though, all for good… in fact GREAT… reason!
I’ve been building up the hype for only the last two days, but like I mentioned, I’ve been working on this project for the last year and HOLY CRAP I can’t believe I’m finally sharing the news!!!! DRUMROLL PLEASE…..
Last week, we had the pleasure of having the one and only Tieghan Gerard of Half Baked Harvest come to our little Pacific Palisades Shoppe to sign copies of her incredible cookbook, Half Baked Harvest. Not only is Tieghan one of the raddest chicks ever, her cooking is OUT of this world and she’s become a dear friend of mine over the last few years. Long story short, one of her 9,000 brothers is dating my younger sister Lyndsie,
One of my favorite things to do is to spend time outdoors… and with this perfect spring weather we’re having in Southern California… I’ll be taking my fam for a good ‘ol Mama’s Day hike.
The BEST hikes in LA, in my opinion, are the trails that overlook the ocean. I mean… it REALLY doesn’t get much better than that. So for all you active folk out there… I put together a list of some of my favorite hikes near the ocean and some muuuust have items before hittin’ the trails.
Alright Mother’s Day party people! It’s kind of time to start planning your morning at home spoooooiling your moms with breakfast in bed.
I already mentioned to ya guys that we’re whipping up waffles in my post last week… and while I’d looooove to have breakfast in bed… I actually have the most fun cooking with Mike and Gwynnie. G is soooo helpful these days and I know she’s going to have way too much fun helping cook this feast AKA make a mess with the waffle batter.
Mother’s Day is right around the corner… and MAN, do I have A LOT to be thankful for. I mean, just look at G up there!!! She is such a frickin gift. I could go on for hours, and I’m working on a few blog posts right now that I’ll be posting over the next few weeks to talk a little in depth about my experiences as a Mama. You may totally not care, but I am totally gonna share with you anyways!
I LOVE CALIFORNIA. I thiiiiink you already knew that… but I love it so much because it’s the most beautiful place in the world and it’s home. I mean, have ya seeeen the beaches?
But guess what you guys… our planet is LITERALLY being destroyed. It’s Earth Day on Sunday and I think it’s sooooo important that we all do our small part to SAVE the planet. I want my sweet Gwynnie to grow up and see and live with all the beautiful things that exist today.
