Interior Design

Amber Interiors is a full-service residential design firm, focusing on high end residential projects and boutique style commercial spaces. Our mission is to approach each project with a holistic vision, and we commit to designing spaces that are a true reflection of the clients living in them. We turn houses into homes, and our California inspired eclectic approach to design is ever evolving and always inspired.

Our firm is available to assist in all aspects of a project from start to finish including consulting with architects and builders, as well as providing a tailor-made approach to finishes and decor. We’ll transform your house into a functional beautiful space with furniture, fabrics, accessories and provide you with custom pieces tailor-made for your living space.

Our staff is capable of assisting and facilitating all of our projects from initial concepts to completion. We currently have projects all over the United States, including California, New York, Connecticut, Alabama, and Hawaii.

Our Team

AMBER LEWIS, CEO

As principal at Amber Interior Design and founder of the blog, All Sorts Of, she has garnered clients and followers from around the world. As pioneer of the white-wall, laid back California aesthetic, Amber’s eclectic design approach and affinity for found objects has made her a household name.

Amber imbues a bit of California eclectic in all of her projects, but craves a design challenge and opportunities to show off her ever-evolving style. No matter what the style she is asked to create, each space designed by Amber feels cozy, eclectic, and unique.

Today Amber Interior Design, Inc. provides designs for everything from large scale residences to extensive commercial projects. Amber and her team work with architects and contractors to bring the distinct visions seen in her work, on her blog and in her retail Shoppe, to life. Light filled rooms, colorful textiles, natural elements, earthy textures, and brushed metals, are the elements that define and can always distinguish an Amber Interiors designed home.

Amber currently lives in Calabasas with her husband and business partner Mike, their daughter Gwyneth, and fur babies Penny, Billie, Stella, and Stevie (all rescue animals).

Mike Lewis, CEO at Shoppe

Morgan Farrell, Designer

Morgan, or Mo, as we like to call her in this office, is one of our East Coast transplants. Born and raised in NY, she likes to say “the palm trees and the cool breeze” brought her to the West Coast where she started out her career in Luxury Hotel design. After a few conference calls with clients in Mongolia and beyond, her inherently laid back and chill vibes, led her to the path of residential interior design. She has since made herself right at home here at AID (and proclaims the couches Are “VERY comfy”). Her attention to detail, and drive to create beautiful spaces makes her a huge asset here at AID. She loves the process of creating cozy and unique homes almost as much as she likes chilling on the beach. On any given day off, you might just find her hiking in Malibu, doing yoga and Pilates – or climbing up Half Dome – yeah, she did that too!!  Plus with a black belt in Tae Kwon Do , her hands are technically registered weapons – OR so she claims.

Danielle Baez, Designer

When you think of a “Jersey Girl”, Danielle just does not fit the mold – which is probably why she abandoned her New Jersey roots and New Hampshire college campus for a road a little more traveled — the West (Best) Coast. After spending some time in San Francisco, she decided to hang up her sweaters, and slip into a sun dress! Ultimately it was her love of cozy, comfortable, unpretentious design that took her to Los Angeles and Amber Interiors. Her years of experience and ability to translate all styles of design from the very formal to the chill and effortless, has positioned her as a perfect Lead Project Designer. She can run with the best architects and most talented contractors, with true professionalism and a just a touch of sass. You’d be hard pressed to find her any morning without a cup of black coffee and her black leather jacket. And although she says she “surfs” , what she really means is she gets out there, paddles around and tries to not get nailed in the head by her surfboard. But “D” as well call her here at AID, is not one to pass up a good time and gets an “A” for effort!   Don’t put it past her to whip up a last minute dinner for 45, while avidly watching football or deep in a baseball game.

Danni Harper, Designer

If you need something done, Danni is your go-to gal. She is the first one to jump up to help, and her positive attitude is why she has had such a successful career in Interior Design. As a native Mid Westerner, her disdain for shoveling snow, led her to Sunny So Cal to obtain her degree in Interior Design.  Her extensive background in residential design, and her ability to manage the sh*! out of any project makes for incredible client + vendor relationships, and smooth installs. There is nothing she won’t attack and like a Mid West tornado…. is a force to be reckoned with! When she’s not hangin with her boyfriend, and frantically cleaning her house, she will most likely be at a wedding. In fact “wedding guest” may be noted on her resume as a second career.

Emmy Kallis, Designer

Although born and raised locally in the Palisades, Emmy has travelled around the world and back… literally. Her interest in interiors started while living abroad in Australia, and blossomed when she moved back to Los Angeles a few years ago. With a background in sales and marketing, and some great opportunities to have worked with local designers, Emmy is our Design Assistant Extraordinaire. Even though she is the tiniest team member, her larger than life personality is everything but! She is direct, and determined, and uses her strong multi tasking skills to support multiple projects while still juggling mom life raising an even more vivacious 5 year old girl. She loves a good matcha anything, (it’s amazing her skin hasn’t turned green) and although claims she’s a Vegan, don’t ask her if she wants a chicken basket from the Country Mart cause she just.can’t.say.no.

Briyana Lusis, Designer

As a native Angelino, Briyana exudes all the California vibes. Her fascination with the world of design and all things creative started at an early age, driving her to pursue a career in Interior Design. Briyana has experience in many aspects of the industry including designing for hospitality as well as residential settings. She began her career with a large restaurant and hospitality group in California, but after 5 years of leading designs for restaurants, cafes, concert venues and corporate offices her design passions transitioned to the world of residential interior design. Her very spunky attitude and ability to find humor in every situation (seriously, she laughs at everything !) gives her the title “ball of fun” in the office. Although her driving privileges when traveling for our out of state clients has been revoked, she can fit in a suitcase, so she’s generally pretty easy to travel with….

Chelsea Hiller, Designer

Chelsea’s creativity started out as a child while spending many hours creating art projects in her mother’s local arts & crafts shop. This set the stage for her love to pursue a creative field and off she went to get her bachelors in Interior Design – pan to current day, a degree from The Art Institute, a decade worth of experience, and neck deep in CAD, Chelsea has fully embraced her passion of all aspects of the design process. From construction to decor, Chelsea is driven by her desire to make sure every aspect of each project is completed to perfection. She truly enjoys designing and creating spaces where both her clients and her are proud to stand behind. Although a self proclaimed introvert, she’s not afraid to sneak a slice of your pizza – so watch out!

Amanda Eike, Designer

As a young child Amanda had a strong desire to make spaces more beautiful. After years of critiquing peoples homes, including her own home, her mother suggested she become an interior designer, which Amanda responded “that’s a job? people get paid to do that?” – and so it began. After living in the Bay Area for years, she uprooted herself to Los Angeles to finish her degree in Interior Design. Her extensive experience in residential design led her to joining the AID team where she has jumped right into some of the biggest projects yet to date for the firm. Although her dream home would be a farmhouse with lots of animals (a bit obsessed), her vice and perfect day is when she gets to relax on the couch, snuggling her dogs and binge watching some trashy TV shows. She clearly fits right in here.

Ashley Grau, Office Manager

Ashley is a manager by nature – hence why we call her the “momager”. Her extensive background in operations and management brings a wealth of knowledge to keeping this office organized and on point! She understands the end game, and is a lifeline for the team to get there. Her background in processes, procedures, accounting, human resources, and general management has been a huge asset to the growing business and team. Although she knows how to keep the atmosphere light around the office (you can’t miss her laugh), she is also a straight shooter who knows how to get things done. Outside of being the office “momager” she’s a mom of two boys who keep her on her toes, so nothing gets past her!

Rachel Caballero, Purchasing Coordinator

Under the word “Endearing” in the dictionary, you should see a picture of Rachel. Her charming and innocent demeanor keeps this office laughing every day, but it’s her ability to get things done, that makes her an excellent purchasing coordinator and irreplaceable member of the team. Her attitude is always even- keeled which helps manage the chaos of daily coordinating of orders, vendor follow up, and client deliveries.  Having been a team member for over 2 years, Rachel’s well versed in the how to make things happen in this office. When she’s not calmly handling business, she is probably at the beach or hiking with her two golden labs. She’s a big fan of small fluffy animals, bob marley, and margaritas!!!!  Her hobbies include… snacks!

Tera Dollin, Retail Director

Tera is the Retail Director at Shoppe Amber Interiors. An Arizona native, she got her start working in textiles in DTLA before heading to West Hollywood where she helped oversee retail and production management at an interior design showroom. In 2016, she found her way to Shoppe. She’s at the helm of Shoppe’s two brick and mortar locations and the one on the world wide web. Tera is usually either scavenging for vintage finds at the flea, arranging flowers she picked up from the market, or driving through the canyons with a carload of pillows.
