About Amber

Amber Lewis is the Principal Designer and Owner of Amber Interiors, based in Los Angeles, CA.

Amber’s love for interior design began at an early age when she found herself often tagging along to work with her construction developer father. Growing up on job sites and never living in a house that wasn’t in some stage of reconstruction or re-model , Amber found herself inspired and fascinated by the world of interior design and the beauty of transforming homes. With an inherent knack for mixing bold patterns and combining colors Amber realized that a career in Interior Design was where she would make her mark in this world . After a brief stint in fashion school, a few semesters at the UCLA Interior Design Program as well as 6 years assiting a small Malibu based Design firm, Amber decided to forge ahead on her own and created her first Interior Design firm in 2010.

With ten plus years of experience in design and extensive world travel under her belt, Amber brings an eclectic design eye and a knack for discovering extraordinary pieces. By mixing touches of vintage with the modern attitude of Los Angeles, Amber’s designs are well-balanced, while never losing touch of the client’s individual style and personality. She sticks to her design philosophy that “chic, should be comfortable, inviting and cool.”

When she’s not creating amazing designs, Amber spends her time with her amazingly fun and full of life daughter Gwyneth and husband Mike. They love taking spontaneous trips to museums and flea markets and are constantly re-vamping their home. With extended family living in both Malibu and Britain they have docked hours of travel from coast to coast.
